The Royal Norfolk Show has unveiled its brand new show map for 2017, redesigned by Norwich University of the Arts (NUA) to be more user friendly for visitors navigating their way around the iconic event. The map has also been updated to reflect the engaging, contemporary nature of the Royal Norfolk Show which, although rooted in tradition, is a contemporary reflection of Norfolk as a county.
The re-design project was managed through ideasfactory, a digital design agency which operates within NUA and uses the creative talents of current students and recent graduates to undertake commercial projects with the support of the ideasfactory team.
NUA graduates Tim Hyland and Adam Avery who worked on the design of the new map said: “We have created a design that encapsulates the rich heritage of the event and looks forward to a new generation of visitor. It has been a great pleasure to be involved.”
NUA is a specialist creative university in the heart of the city offering undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Arts, Design, Architecture, Media and Creative Science. Each year more than 500 students graduate from NUA to start careers in the creative industries with 95% finding employment or further study within six months of graduating.
