Keep your cool, stay ahead of the crowds, buy tickets online, set off early, stay safe in the sun, and check out these fun things to do at your Royal Norfolk Show, 1 & 2 July 2015
It’s going to be our best show ever, great weather, and we’re expecting up to 80,000 fabulous people. There’s hundreds of things to do. More than 80 hours of ringside action, 3,000 animals, 650 trade stands, the Household Cavalry, RAF Falcons, Cookery Theatre, Discovery Zone, Live music, vintage fair, shopping, showjumping, food hall and fashion show. Try something different, from playing rugby with the Leicester Tigers, taking a ride in a crane, making some bread and butter to critter cuisine (that’s eating insects which is massive apparently) or going to an auction, there’s lots to do and much of it is free. Discover more…
Meet leading showjumpers, breeders, businesses and football stars, growers, farmers and scientists, artists and the animals. Watch non-stop action in the Grand and Countryside Rings. Seek sanctuary in the shade in one of the hundreds of marquees. Explore the Discovery Zone to stay cool and learn. Visit Mr Mawkin’s farm and animals or watch models strutting on the catwalk at the Jarrold Fashion Show. Admire art on display at the RNAA Art Exhibition. Meet the experts at the Flower and Garden Show.. Sample food and drink from more than 80 local producers in Adnams Food and Drink Experience and watch 15 top chefs cook mouth-watering recipes. Or have a picnic in the shade. Graze on the go as there’s a bounty of Norfolk produce served up in the many food courts around the showground. Eat strawberries and cream, cool down with an ice-cream and relax over a summer drink. Stay and play a little longer. Avoid the traffic and enjoy the free evening entertainment by the Joe Ringer Band.
