Famous faces at the show!

Thursday 29th June

Jimmy Doherty
Come and spot one of the UK’s favourite farmers and television presenters at the Royal Norfolk Show on Wednesday 28th June. Attending in his capacity as President of the Rare Breeds Survivial Trust, Jimmy will be meeting and greeting local producers in the Adnams Food and Drink Experience and holding a celebrity cooking demo on the Grow it, Cook it, Eat it stage at 13:00.

Kate Barmby
Head to the Grow it, Cook it, Eat it stage bright and early on Wednesday as you won’t want to miss Norfolk’s very own Kate Barmby on stage. Kate, who appeared on the Great British Bake Off will be baking a showstopper of a cake, head along at 11am to see how it’s done.

Mark Thompson
Head to the Discovery Zone where astronomer and television presenter, Mark Thompson will be delivering talks to promote the Norwich Science Festival. Mark will be at the show on Wednesday 28 June.


Thursday 29th June

James Wong
Celebrity botanist and TV host James Wong will be taking part in a jam-packed schedule on the Grow it, Cook it, Eat it stage on Thursday. Starting at 11am with an ‘introduction to Norfolk’s amazing ingredients’ alongside chef Richard Bainbridge. You’ll get the chance to meet and greet with James at 4pm at his book signing, not to be missed.

Ian Haste
Acclaimed chef and popular local YouTuber Ian Haste will be hosting a behind the scenes demo at the Kestrel stand (stand 227) on Thursday 29th June. The cameras will be rolling for his YouTube channel as Ian cooks up a mouth-watering selection of Korean and Taiwanese street food. Head to the Kestrel Kitchen stand between 12 and 2pm for an exclusive view.


Carly Rowena
Fitness guru, blogger, YouTuber and ‘This Girl Can’ ambassador, Carly Rowena will be attending the show with Active Norfolk. Carly will be hosting two fitness sessions on Thursday one at 11:30am and one at 2pm. Fans will also have the opportunity to have a picnic lunch with Carly, the ideal opportunity to meet and chat with one of Norfolk’s most loved YouTubers.

The Lean Machines
‘The Lean Machines’ John Chapman and Leon Bustin are Norfolk based health coaches and YouTube stars who will be at the show with Langley School to promote health and wellbeing. On Thursday 29 June at 10:30am The Lean Machines will go head to head in a ‘Smoothie Bike Challenge’. Who out of the fitness duo can pedal the fastest to make the mango or mixed berry iced smoothie!  After the challenge, the Lean Machines will be available for Q&As and for photo and autograph opportunities.
