Young showgoer at Royal Norfolk Show

RNS20: Norfolk & Agriculture

Farming is the foundation of the Royal Norfolk Show with everything from big beast farm machinery and some of the largest cattle in the land to rare breeds and world class show-jumping.

With all the changes for 2020, we thought we would share some of the projects by our partners including AgriTechE with the Virtual Innovation Hub and Easton College students as they put on their own online agricultural show.

Also take a look at our Show Stories from previous shows which share the great work of our livestock stewards and exhibitors who give so much to the Royal Norfolk Show – we will miss you but look forward to seeing you in 2021…

Virtual Innovation Hub 2020

We love to share all the great work going on in our county from the Innovation Hub, in partnership with AgriTechE, with emerging technologies, discussions from technologists or researchers and a range of demonstrators… and 2020 is no different!

Head over to the AgriTechE website to find the virtual Innovation Hub and an exciting programme of discussions and presentations from a range of organisations including BBRO (British Beet Research Organisation), NIAB (National Institute of Agricultural Botany) and the University of East Anglia.

Easton College Virtual Show 2020

Easton College is proud to be able to bring to you an on-line virtual show as part of our students’ studies, in partnership with the Royal Norfolk Agricultural Association and The Veteran Horse Society.

With a range of classes including Equine, Cattle, Pigs and Machinery, they will be announcing winners throughout Wednesday 1 July on their facebook page and website.
