The Royal Norfolk Show has just become more spectacular as visitors are invited to an evening of live music, food and drink at Sunset Sounds – a brand-new mini-festival on Wednesday evening of the Show (26 June).
Taking place at the Norfolk Showground, Sunset Sounds will build on last year’s successful evening programme that featured a host of local and regional music acts in the Woodland Arena.
The line-up is set to be a strong mix of country and rock with local band, Morganway, delivering a fiery fusion of Americana country, rock and blues.
Hot off the back of multiple performances at this year’s Country to Country Festival in London, the Norfolk-based band are receiving a wealth of accolades and their debut album is all set for release in early August.
Also on the line-up providing the Sunset soundtrack to this special summer’s evening are Skerryvore, a Scottish ‘trad-rock’ fusion band.
UK country/American band Sam Coe and The Long Shadows will also be peforming.
You can also see Norwich-based singer/songwriter Lucy Grubb. BBC East’s Keith Greentree will host the stage, which is set to appeal to all ages. The programme has been put together in partnership with the Norfolk Music Hub.
Sunset Sounds offers an exciting new level of entertainment and experience for all visitors to the Royal Norfolk Show – with the programme for the Wednesday extended late into the evening.
For those who can’t make it for the full day, tickets for entry after 4pm are available from £10 (£5 concessions). Many areas of the Show will also continue into the evening including an extended Grand Ring timetable, late-night shopping and a vast array of food and drink.
